# Credit Guide (Starting October 2026)

A guide to the way Arcade AI Video credits will work, starting October 19th, 2026.

## How video credits work

Credits are how we charge for the AI work in video. You spend them when the AI makes a video for you, and when you ask it to change one. Credits belong to your workspace, so everyone on your team draws from the same allowance. You'll see the cost of each request before you send it.

### What uses credits?

| What you do                               | Credits                                      |
| ----------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------- |
| Make a video up to 30 seconds             | 50                                           |
| Make a video from 30 to 90 seconds        | 100                                          |
| Make a video from 90 seconds to 2 minutes | 200                                          |
| Each minute past 2 minutes                | +100 (3 min = 300, 4 min = 400, 5 min = 500) |
| Ask the AI to edit your video | 25 |
| Edit the video yourself                   | 0                                            |
| Export, download, or share your video | 0 |

Writing the script, the voiceover, the music, the sound effects and stock footage are all part of an AI edit and cost nothing extra.

Asking for another version of a video costs the same as making the first one. If you ask for changes that make your video longer, and the new version passes the next length in the table above, the change is charged at that longer length. A 30-second video that comes back at a minute and a half costs 100 credits rather than 50. Making a video longer yourself in the editor uses no credits. We can only tell that a video got longer once the change has been made, so this is the one cost that appears after the request rather than before it.

### How many credits does each plan include?

**Free — 175 credits, one time.** Videos up to 30 seconds, 1080p with an Arcade watermark.

**Pro — five levels, from 1,000 credits a month.** Videos up to 5 minutes, 4K, no watermark, cleared for commercial use, up to 10 people on your team. Paying annually gives you two months free.

**Enterprise — custom limits.** Contact [Sales](mailto:sales@arcade.software) to discuss a plan that works for your team.

### What can I make with my credits?

These are examples, and they assume a set number of edits per video. How far your credits go depends on how much you revise.

| Plan               | Example                                                                                 |
| ------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Free, 175 credits  | One 30-second video with 5 AI edits                                                     |
| Pro, 1,000 credits | Five 30-second videos with 5 AI edits each                                              |
| Pro, 1,000 credits | One 90-second video- with 9 AI edits, plus three 30-second videos with 5 edits each |
| Pro, 2,500 credits | Two 3-minute videos with 8 AI edits each, plus eight 30-second videos with 5 edits each |

### Do unused credits carry over to next month?

On a monthly plan, no. You start each month with your plan's full allowance on your billing date, and anything left from the month before doesn't carry.

On an annual plan, yes, within your subscription year. You get one twelfth of your yearly credits each month, unused credits build up across the whole term, and the balance goes back to zero when you renew.

### What happens when I run out of credits?

If you need credits sooner, move up to a Pro level with a larger monthly allowance.

You can't make new videos or ask for AI edits until your credits refill on your next billing date. Editing a video yourself, exporting and sharing still work.

### What changes for teams using video today?

AI edits now use credits. Until now, only generating the video used credits, and every edit after that was free.

Your existing AI videos move to the new video experience.

Joining the waitlist is optional and doesn't change your current subscription. The two-month free-credit offer does require joining it. A paid video plan is a separate subscription — if video is all your team uses, we'll send instructions for ending your old plan so you're not billed for both.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.arcade.software/kb/admin/plans-and-ai-credits/credit-guide-starting-october-2026.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
