# Plans, Credits & Pricing

{% hint style="info" %}
AI Video has its own plans and its own AI credits, separate from any Interactive Demo plan on the account. This page describes that standalone model.

## Plans & Pricing

### What plans does AI Video offer?

AI Video offers three plans: Free, Pro, and Enterprise.

### Free

$0/month.

* 250 AI credits, one time — they don't refresh
* Videos up to 30 seconds
* 1080p exports, with an Arcade watermark
* 1 Brand Kit
* 1 seat

### Pro

$59/month billed monthly, or from $49/month billed annually — price depends on the credit allowance you choose when you subscribe, from the upgrade screen inside the app:

| Credits/month | Billed annually |
| ------------- | --------------- |
| 1,000         | $49/mo          |
| 1,500         | $73/mo          |
| 2,500         | $119/mo         |
| 5,000         | $239/mo         |
| 10,000        | $469/mo         |

Need more than 10,000 credits/month? Talk to sales about Enterprise instead.

Everything in Free, plus:

* Videos up to 5 minutes
* 4K exports, no watermark
* Up to 10 seats

### Enterprise

Custom pricing — [let's talk](https://www.arcade.software/contactsales).

Everything in Pro, plus:

* A custom monthly credit allowance, granted in one lump at the start of your term and reset when the contract renews
* Multiple projects and Brand Kits
* Single sign-on (SSO)
* Role-based access control
* SOC 2 reporting, data residency and retention controls
* Support for your security review
* A dedicated customer success manager

Enterprise is invoiced, with contract terms negotiated directly — it isn't self-serve. Reach out to <sales@arcade.software>.

### How do I upgrade, downgrade, or change my credit allowance?

It's self-serve for Free and Pro: open the account menu → Upgrade to see Free, Pro, and Enterprise side by side, switch between monthly and annual billing, and pick a credit allowance from the dropdown on the Pro plan. Your plan and balance are visible anytime under Settings → Billing. Cancel, downgrade, or resume from the same place — see Billing below for what happens to unused credits.

{% hint style="warning" %}
The create-video length dropdown in the composer currently tops out at `2m`. The 5-minute plan limits above describe each plan's overall cap as longer generations roll out, not what you can pick today.

## How AI credits work

### What is a credit?

A credit is the unit AI Video charges for AI work: generating a video, and asking the AI to change one afterward. Every plan includes a set number of credits, and everyone in the workspace spends from the same balance.

### What model should I pick?

You pick a model before you generate, and the Create button itself shows the exact price (for example, `Create video (100 credits)`) before you send anything. You can't switch models once a video starts generating.

* **Light (Gemini 3.8)** — fastest, and the fewest credits. Works well for simple, shorter videos.
* **Medium (Sonnet 5.5)** — best balance of speed, quality, and credits. Handles detailed instructions and longer scripts.
* **High (Opus 5.5)** — maximum detail and polish for complex, high-stakes videos. Uses about 1.25× the credits of Medium to generate, and about 2× for AI edits. This is the default model, and the model picker is open to everyone on every plan.

### What does each action cost?

| What you do                                             | High (Opus 5.5) | Medium (Sonnet 5.5) | Light (Gemini 3.8) |
| ------------------------------------------------------- | --------------- | ------------------- | ------------------ |
| Generate a video up to 30 seconds                       | 100             | 80                  | 60                 |
| Generate a video up to 60 seconds                       | 150             | 120                 | 90                 |
| Generate a video up to 90 seconds                       | 200             | 160                 | 120                |
| Generate a video up to 2 minutes                        | 400             | 320                 | 240                |
| Each extra minute after 2 minutes                       | +200            | +160                | +120               |
| Ask the AI video editor to change something             | 75              | 40                  | 30                 |
| Manually add music, voiceover, sound effects, or scenes | 0               | 0                   | 0                  |
| Publish or export, at any resolution                    | 0               | 0                   | 0                  |

An AI edit is any change you ask the AI to make to a video after it's generated — changes you make yourself (trimming a clip, moving a caption, swapping an image, reordering scenes) are always free. See Editing for the full breakdown of what's chat-driven versus manual.

### Am I charged for an edit that fails, or if I just ask a question?

No — you're only charged once a chat edit actually finishes and applies to your video. If it fails, gets cancelled, or you ask a question without requesting a change, you keep your credits.

### What if an edit makes my video longer than what I already paid for?

Arcade charges the difference for the extra length, at your model's per-length pricing above. This never blocks the edit itself — if you're short on credits for the length increase, Arcade covers it rather than stopping your edit.

## Getting more credits

### Do credits roll over, or expire?

It depends on how you pay:

* **Monthly billing.** Credits don't roll over — your balance resets to your plan's allowance on each billing date.
* **Annual billing.** You receive one twelfth of your yearly allowance each month, and anything unspent stays in your balance for the rest of the term. The balance returns to zero when your term renews.
* **Free.** The 250 credits are one time and never refresh.

### What happens when I run out of credits mid-month?

Generating stops until you have credits again. Everything you've already made stays available — you can still edit any video by hand, publish it, and export it for free.

On a paid plan, you have two options: move up to a higher credit allowance for the larger balance right away, or wait for your balance to refresh on your next billing date.

{% hint style="info" %}
Unlike Interactive Demo's [Plans and AI Credits](https://docs.arcade.software/kb/interactive-demo/admin/plans-and-ai-credits/) page, AI Video does not currently plan to sell one-off credit top-up packs — you can't buy a second allowance at the level you're already on. The only ways to get more credits are an upgrade or the next refresh.
{% endhint %}

On the Free plan, the 250 credits don't refresh, so moving to Pro is the only way to keep generating videos.

### Can my team share credits?

Yes. Credits belong to the workspace, not to an individual — there's one balance, and everyone in the workspace spends from it.

## AI Video vs. Interactive Demos

AI Video and Interactive Demo are two separate products available from the same Arcade login. A demo subscription does not include AI video credits, and an AI Video subscription does not include access to any paid Interactive Demo feature — each is sold and priced on its own. See Interactive Demo's [Plans and AI Credits](https://docs.arcade.software/kb/interactive-demo/admin/plans-and-ai-credits/) page for that product's own plans.

### I'm paying for Arcade — why does it say I'm on the Free plan?

A few different things can cause this, so it's worth checking in order:

1. **Wrong workspace or account.** The most common cause. Your paid plan lives on a specific workspace, and simply working at the same company doesn't automatically put you on it — your admin needs to add you as a member, or move your Arcades into the team's shared folder. If you have more than one Arcade account (say, a personal one you first signed up with, and a work one), double-check you're logged into the paid one.
2. **A trial ended, or a renewal payment didn't go through.** A Growth trial reverts to Free automatically once it ends, and so does a subscription whose renewal payment failed — an expired or declined card, for example. Settings → Billing shows your actual current plan and flags a payment issue if that's what happened.
3. **You're paying for Interactive Demo, and AI Video is the one still on Free.** This is an increasingly common version of this question. AI Video and Interactive Demo are billed as two separate subscriptions, even though they live in the same account — paying for one doesn't pay for the other. If your Interactive Demo plan is paid but you never separately upgraded AI Video, the AI Video side of your account is still on Free: 30-second videos, 250 one-time credits, and the "Made with Arcade" watermark on every export. That's still true even if you've already spent AI Video credits generating a video on that Free allowance — credits pay for the generation, the plan controls the watermark and length cap. Check each product separately from the product switcher (bottom-left of the sidebar) → Settings → Billing, since they're not the same plan.

{% hint style="info" %}
To get longer AI videos, more credits, and a clean export, upgrade AI Video itself from its own Upgrade screen (account menu → Upgrade) — an Interactive Demo plan doesn't carry over or apply to AI Video.
{% endhint %}

### Can I convert my Interactive Demo subscription into an AI Video subscription?

Not automatically — there's no toggle that moves a paid Interactive Demo plan over to AI Video, since the two are billed and invoiced independently. If you only need one product going forward:

1. Cancel or downgrade the one you no longer need from its own Settings → Billing (see Billing below for how refunds/prorating works).
2. Subscribe to the other product from its own Upgrade screen (account menu → Upgrade).

If you'd rather not juggle this yourself, contact our Support team on Intercom (bottom-right help icon) and we can help coordinate the switch.

### I upgraded AI Video, but my exports still show the "Made with Arcade" watermark

Check these in order:

1. **Confirm the upgrade landed on AI Video, not Interactive Demo.** Since the two are separate subscriptions, it's easy to upgrade one and assume it covers both. Use the product switcher (bottom-left of the sidebar) to get into AI Video specifically, then check Settings → Billing there.
2. **Export or publish again.** The watermark reflects your plan at the moment you export or publish, not a snapshot taken when the video was generated — so a fresh export after upgrading should come out clean. A file you already downloaded before upgrading keeps its watermark baked in; re-download it instead of reusing the old file.
3. **Still there after both?** That's not expected — contact our Support team on Intercom (bottom-right help icon) with the video and we'll look at the account directly.

### I can't find a video or Arcade I already made — what happened?

A few different things can cause this:

1. **Wrong product.** AI Video and Interactive Demo are two separate products on the same login, each with its own content — an Arcade (interactive demo) never shows up on the AI Video side, and an AI-generated video never shows up on Interactive Demo's side. Use the product switcher (bottom-left of the sidebar) to check the other product before assuming something's missing.
2. **Personal vs. shared workspace.** Content made in a personal space won't show up in a shared team space, and vice versa — check both.
3. **A paid plan lapsed, or you're in the wrong workspace/account.** If you see a lock symbol or limited access, double-check you're logged into the paid workspace, and that the subscription for *this specific product* is current — a paid Interactive Demo plan doesn't unlock anything on AI Video's side, and vice versa. See Interactive Demo's [Team Management](https://docs.arcade.software/kb/interactive-demo/admin/team-management/) page for the full workspace/team access breakdown.

## Billing

### Can I cancel or downgrade at any time? What happens to unused credits?

You can cancel or downgrade at any time, self-serve, from Settings → Billing. The change takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for, and you keep your plan and your credits until then.

Credits have no cash value. They aren't refunded (though Arcade can replenish credits in the event of a mistake) and can't be paid out — anything left in your balance when the plan ends is gone.

***

## Commercial use & ownership

### Can I use these videos commercially? Who owns them?

You own the videos you make. On any paid plan, you can use them commercially — in advertising, sales material, or anything else you publish. On the Free plan, your videos carry an Arcade watermark.

### Can I use my own brand assets?

Yes — every generated video is built from your Brand Kit: your fonts, colors, logo, and voice. Free and Pro each include 1 Brand Kit; Enterprise includes as many as you need.

## Contacting Sales

### How can I speak with someone about plans or book a demo?

Reach us directly at <sales@arcade.software> — for a platform walkthrough, questions about plans or use cases, or to talk through whether Enterprise is the right fit.

Upgrading to Enterprise isn't self-serve; our sales team sets it up with you.

### I'm leaving my company — can I take my videos with me?

No — your videos live in your employer's AI Video workspace, not with your personal login, and workspace content doesn't move with you to a new job.

Once you're set up at your new company, reach out to our sales team at <sales@arcade.software> — we're happy to help you get AI Video running there, and we offer a discount for returning users joining at a new company.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.arcade.software/kb/ai-video/plans-credits-and-pricing.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
