Video editing is a feature for our Pro, Growth, and Enterprise plans.
How can I edit videos?
On our Growth plan, you can seek, trim, and control the speed of any video.
You can also edit any video on your desktop (and use another app to add pan and zoom, blur, or any other specific edits) and then upload that video to Arcade.
Can I add a hotspot in a video? How does video splitting work?
Video editing is a feature for our Pro, Growth, and Enterprise plans.
You can't add a hotspot in a moving video, but you can use video splitting to split your video into an interactive demo.
Video splitting works by allowing you to select points in a longer video to break. When you create the video break, we automatically add in a screenshot of the video frame at that point and add a hotspot to that screenshot. This allows you to turn any recording — a desktop app, a mobile app, etc. — into an interactive Arcade.
Sound
Can I add sound to my Arcades?
Yes! Arcade supports several types of sound: Video steps with sound, background music, and synthetic Voiceovers.
Can I upload a video with sound to Arcade?
Yes! Any MP4 uploaded to Arcade will play with sound.
Can I add background music to my Arcade?
Yes! Click on

If you upload a video with sound to your Arcade, the Arcade viewer will play the video with the sound.
Background music
You can have background music play throughout your Arcade by attaching an MP3 file inside the Arcade's settings panel.
Synthetic Voiceovers
Generating high-quality voiceovers can be a difficult and time-consuming task. However, with Arcade, you can effortlessly produce synthetic voiceovers that sound both professional and natural simply by inputting your script.
You can add voiceovers to chapters and image steps to improve the user experience by providing clear and concise explanations.
Arcade's synthetic voiceovers support 52 voices in 15 languages and automatically detect the language of your script to offer suitable options.
